September Already? New Stamp of the Month and All Things Considered
Wow, do we have some incredible art being released this month. We are kicking it off with three new sets for today. The first is the September Stamp of the Month called “Owl Silhouette”. This is such a versatile image, it would be great for so many different projects, I can even imagine it being stamped onto napkins for a Fall get together, so fun!

Then two new sets from All Things Considered. I feel very biased toward these, I had a wonderful time planning and creating them, and they are so fun to stamp with too!
This set is called “Fall Harvest”, it plays with the fun images from the season but also has a bit of elegance for added versatility. Easy to collage together, or to use as stand alone images, loads of possibilities with this.

The elegance of this card is so wonderful, Joanne really knows how to stamp in single layers that looks like so much more. So stunning, and her coloring is beautiful.

And Jean Beck created this gorgeous layered project, it is so inspiring!

The last set is an homage to one of the arts that is quickly disappearing, home canning. As I was growing up, I always helped my mom and grandmothers to “put up” the summers harvest so that it could be enjoyed in the winter months. Snapping green beans, peeling and pitting peaches and preparing apples for saucing were just a few of the activities that I was assigned. Those foods were enjoyed so much when the snow was flying and we could go back and revisit those beautiful moments we had enjoyed in the sun during the summer. Now I don’t can those foods as they are so readily accessible in the markets, but I do prepare jams made from my favorite fruits that can’t be found during those months, a brightly colored red raspberry jam is like a little spoonful of sunshine when the snow is flying, perfect with a slice of toast and a spot of herbal tea.
If you don’t have time to “put up” some fruits and veggies, maybe you do have time to stamp a little with “Can It”.

This gift box that Julia decorated is amazing, the colors are so rich and elegant, and it has me thinking that big things come in small packages!

And this card from Lisa Silver is so encouraging, and the blues with the tea colors really lets the red apples pop, wonderful visual impact for sure!

Welcome to September, and keep your eyes open. We have some wonderful art coming, and some new people to help us share it! And thanks for your support, we really appreciate it!
Happy Stamping!
