Two Releases and a Give Away to Start our Christmas in July Celebration!
Christmas in July has begun! And what better way to kick it off than with the latest Rummage Bin release called “Night Before Christmas”! Julia has created this incredible stamp set to do loads of holiday multi-tasking for you. You can use them for quick tags, cards, and bags with a few minutes and a little ink!

I just adore this sweet card! The coloring is fantastic, and it is a darling size!

This tag can be done in no time flat! A few pieces of patterned paper mounted on kraft, stamp that darling image and you are done!

The other release today is with the All Things Considered line and is called “Evergreen Holiday”. I designed this one, and it was inspired by the years I spent growing up in Oregon and going out into the forest every year to pick out the perfect Christmas tree with my family, a tradition that I enjoyed very much!

This card designed by Julia captures the wonder of a blue sky in winter after a snow storm, so beautiful!

She also created this fantastic little trifold gift card holder, love the layers of stamping and the way she has colored it is perfect!

So are you excited to have Christmas in July? Leave a comment by Friday at noon, about how early you start your holiday preparations and why, and I will pick someone to receive both of these sets!
Happy Stamping!

I ADORE Christmas in July!! I start my Christmas preparations in July. I just ordered my paper. Now I’m debating whether to get the Night before Christmas stamp set or the SEP Santa’s Lap for my cards…. so hard to choose! Thank you for the chance to win

I start planning for my cards right now but look forward to the week around Thanksgiving when my daughter comes home and we make cards for the whole week. We make a huge mess and take over my mother’s dining room, but have so much fun.

Growing up, our family always held off and didn’t put the tree or decorations up until December 10th or later. My birthday was December 9th, and my parents didn’t want me to feel slighted. Isn’t that sweet?
Thanks so much for the chance to win!

Wow, these sets are both gorgeous! We start decorating the house November 1st because there’s so much stuff and I like my aunt to be able to see it all when she comes up for Thanksgiving. I try to start my cards in September, but it’s so hard to get into that Christmas spirit so early!
Thanks for the chance to win!

Well, truth be told, I would love to start now but time usually slips away. I start in October planning how many different cards to make. By Thanksgiving weekend, I’m lugging all my stamping stuff to my Mom’s house, trying to cut paper, simultaneously helping my Mom and sister with their cards. Usually I end up with a few made, and LOTS more to go. Right before Thanksgiving, I also prepare for my youth ministry group a card making workshop and we make cards to go with the Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets…That’s about 60 cards for each holiday’s baskets. Usually I’m burnt out on Christmas cards and I end up only making a special 3 or 4 cards. Last year, I simply ran out of time. This year however…..I will be having a Christmas in July cardmaking at my house with Mom, my sister and a couple of close friends. That way I can at least get some card making in…I hope!
Thanks for the chance to win the sets…They’re beautiful. Even if I’m not picked, I’ll add them to my growing Holidays collection.

I start my Christmas planning after Thanksgiving. I want to remember to slow down, enjoy the time with family and friends both at Thanksgiving and Christmas. So I simplify, simplify, simplify! I started this a couple of years ago and have not looked back! Thanks for the chance of winning these beautiful sets!

Oh my.. both these sets are wonderful!!!! I LOVE the vintage look! Awesome job
I actually start ‘thinking’ about Christmas in August! Yep. I do a theme each year of what my goody boxes will be (snowmen? gingerbread men? Santas? Trees?).. I start collecting my theme goodies, early, a little at a time so the ‘pain’ of shopping isn’t a huge expense… I do not like Christmas shopping! I love Christmas ‘crafting’ and making and decorating… But come Black Friday.. I hide. at home.. with Christmas Music playing in my crafty space for the next 6 weeks!!!

Lately it seems like after Thanksgiving I start getting ready for Christmas - which leaves little time to make gifts : ( But posts like this are inspiring me to go back to my earlier ways and start making gifts now because it seems like once Halloween roles around there is no turning back! I love Christmas, and it is my favorite holiday (next to my birthday which is 10 days beforehand). I used to start planning for it around February each year, buying or making gifts for all my family members. Now the family is absolutely HUGE what with spouses and children and extended families, we’ve had to pare it down somewhat. Now I plan together with my mom and sisters-in-law around October to see who is bringing what, and what the kids want each year.

Love the both sets….perfect for cards, but also for my scrapbook pages of my childhood years! I “typically” start my Christmas projects/cards in November, last minute and never get all I want done….one year, I started making 10 cards in January, with hopes to be finished by Halloween…I only got 10 cards done….My business starts Christmas NOW…so, I get a little burned out early on….and realize I better start soon. I do purchase my supplies now though!

Wow, such talent! Those sets are unlike anything I have in my collection! I usually have good intentions of starting holiday prep early, but time always seems to slip away… We do have one tradition: we always start *decorating* for Christmas on December 2 — the date my husband proposed to me (by hiding my ring on the branches of our Christmas tree while we were decorating)… Thanks for the chance to win!

The DT samples are AMAZING! Wow!
I prepare for the holidays all year. I work on making homemade gifts and sign up for the Christmas Card Challenge on http://www.splitcoaststampers.com to make 10 holiday cards every month so I am all set when the holidays arrive, I just have to address them all… And I am always thinking of gifts that are good for my relatives and friends throughout the year, so if something is on sale, I get it then, rather than waiting until the holidays and potentially not finding it then. Relieves holiday stress, except for the space it takes upin my closet! LOL
Thanks for the chance to win such lovely sets!

Call me crazy but I start my Christmas preperations in Janauary by searching for what I hope will be the perfect gift idea. Then I buy the materials, etc. since I make many of my gifts, hoping by July I can get started on them. True to course though I’m usally still working on things that first week in December.

At our house we don’t start Christmas decorating until the week after Thanksgiving, but we do start shopping well ahead - sometimes I even pick up something here and there in the summer! Cooking always starts in November for those homemade gifts. And paper crafts start whenever the inspiration hits!

What wonderful and versatile sets for the holidays! Christmas is my favourite holiday and I enjoy going all out when it comes to decorating which starts right after the big Thanksgiving meal is finished, left-overs put away, and the dishes are done; and they stay up at least until 12th night if not longer. Now when it comes to Christmas cards, tags for presents, and handmade Christmas gifts, and decorations for the house, I start as soon as Christmas is over on my projects for next year.

I usually start in Oct or Nov, and end up in a panic in Dec. I promised myself I would make 4 cards a month throughout the year, to be ready and not have such a panicked rush! I always start to plan my cards in early fall, sometimes late summer. So I can at least get my paper and stamps decided on, and then take one weekend and make them all up. My Tree goes up the Friday after Thanksgiving. I put the tree up by myself and I adore it! All my decorations in the rest of the house (bathrooms, kitchen, etc.) get put up all throughout that weekend. :o)

Beautiful sets. I love the idea of Christmas in July and I always swear that I will start my Christmas Cards this early and get them out of the way so that I can make Christmas gifts. In actuality, I start the Christmas cards sometime around Thanksgiving and never get to those wishful homemade gifts. If it’s a good year, I get the cards done. If it’s not… I don’t usually find the holiday papers around in stares until well after CHA and that usually has bearing also. Last year I waited for papers. By the time I ordered, received, and admired, I found myself putting it away for this year. I must say that I am all set to make cards, but some new stamps would be fab!
