Welcome to another exciting release day at the farm! Today we have something new from Shady Tree Studios and from Tom Allen’s Friendly Kritters line. Grab a cuppa and enjoy what the team has cooked up for you.

First up is a fun duo from Shady Tree Studios called Nesting Oak Leaves. It comes with one outline stamp and one solid stamp for great versatility.  

 

The outline stamp works well for coloring and paper piecing. Both would work to create beautiful backgrounds and for emboss resist. Here is a sample I made using some rich fall colored paper from Basic Grey. The leaves shine when embossed with gold.

Just in case you needed a little variety in your leaves, Shady Tree Studios is also releasing a second set called Nesting Maple Leaves. Again, there is a duo of an outline and solid stamp.

Jean combined warm colors, stitching and buttons to create this monochromatic beauty…

On this sample, I did some watercoloring with dye inks to capture the color of changing leaves. The 4″x4″ kraft card base allows the leaf to take center stage.

I have been anxiously awaiting our next release. This latest stamp from Tom Allen’s Friendly Kritters line is called Turtle Sled and it is A-dorable! Sledding down a hill can be pure joy and this image captures that perfectly.

Kristine combined some winter papers and frosty accents on this fun card…
