Let’s Get Stuffed
As October comes to an end Thanksgiving will be here before you know it! It is not to soon to start working on your Thanksgiving Day projects.
One of my favorite stamp sets to use for Thanksgiving is Kim Hughes, “Lets Get Stuffed“.

Today’s “tutorial” is not so much a “tutorial”, as it is a little nudge to get your creativity going!
This is just a small sampling of ideas to get your juices flowing.

Going to family or a friends house for the holidays? Don’t show up empty handed. In just a few short minutes you can create a terrific tag for a bottle of wine or sparkling cider for your hostess.

After the get together what hostess wouldn’t be thrilled to receive this thank you card in the mail?

Find yourself hosting the big dinner this year? You can add a little festivity to your table with these great place cards.

You can make fun napkin rings for your table too.

And finally…these images are the perfect size to make great little wine glass charms.

Want more info on how to make any of these items? You can e mail me (stampwithkristine@sbcglobal.net)
Want more ideas? Check out the gallery.
Want to win one of Kim’s, “Lets Get Stuffed” stamp set? Just leave a comment on this post telling us how you celebrate Thanksgiving by this Thursday at Noon and I will randomly pick one of you to win this stamp set!
Good Luck & Happy Stamping!

This is a great stamp set – thank you for the chance to win it! My husband and I are newlyweds and, tired of the hustle and bustle of family holidays, decided to have Thanksgiving on our own in Tahoe cabin. While wonderful, we did miss the chaos so we’re going back to the fold this year.

I’m Canadian, so we celebrated our Thanksgiving earlier this month. We usually have dinner with my family one day, and my hubby’s family the next day. This year we also had an engagement party, and next year we’ll have a wedding!

I think this is one of the cutest stamps sets around. My husband and I usually have two Thanksgiving dinners – one with his family and one with mine. Good thing I have the day after Thanksgiving off from work so I can digest!

we get together with as much family as we can, it is nice to catch up with family as we are spread out and don’t see each other as much as we like.

Oh I love Kim Hughes cute style! We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia. I think we should though because it’s so easy to take things for granted. I’ve always been blown away with how thoughtful American’s seem to be, with little gifts for neighbours and teachers, etc.

Our children and their families all gather at our home for a big Thanksgiving meal at noontime. After dinner the men go outside and do some trapshooting, while the women and children visit and play inside. I’m afraid this year, what with all the rain we’ve had here in the midwest. we may still be combining corn!

We are pretty mellow on Turkey day – my DH smokes ours. We eat the big pig out meal at lunch if I don’t work and at the evening meal if I do work (all part of being a Nurse – folks don’t just get sick during business hours
. We don’t have alot of family close by so its just the DH, DD, DS and I.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! For the last few years we take turns driving 3 hours to my uncle’s house for the feast, and the next year they drive here. It’s been a really nice thing, since that is our closest family. Thanks for the chance to win such an adorable stamp set!

Love Kim’s stamps. . . my sisters and I usually get together at mom’s or one of our houses and get crackin on getting the feast together. Our kids (the cousins) get to sleep in and everybody enjoys the big meal for lunch, then again at dinner, and the next day . . . we love to eat!

I’m a big fan of Kim’s stamps and was blown away by your cute projects with this set. We always have the whole family over at Thanksgiving for a big turkey dinner with all the fixings, then just enjoy the fall weather together and spend time counting our blessings. Thanks for the chance to win these great stamps!

I love Let’s get stuffed stamp set too and just haven’t been able to purchase it yet….Love all your ideas to use with it! Wowzers…my mind is swimming with things to make for Thanksgiving.
We always have a HUGE Thanksgiving. We invite people who don’t have family to spend time with the college student, widowed, divorced and just down on their luck becuase of the economy. We normally feed 40 plus people and expecting the # to double this year.
This would make so many cute inexpensive items to decorate and to package up the little gifties of food we send home with them. Our motto is no one leaves our family Thanksgiving hungry and without leftovers to enjoy the next day. LOL
Thanks for a chance to win and many blessings!!!

Well, if I don’t get the short straw and get stuck working (I work in a hospital), DH & I watch football with the kids, stamp, then we stuff ourselves with MIL’s cooking.

Beautiful projects! We only have my DH’s family local to us, so spend the day with his family at my MIL’s – she cooks the Turkey and we all bring a dish to pass.

Those are GREAT ideas! Before my DH and I were married I had NEVER made a Thanksgiving turkey but that all changed about 8 years ago and now I make the entire dinner…from beginning to end. I’m so glad I know I can do it now!

We have had up to 35 people in our house for Thanksgiving! Since my husband’s grandparents have both passed away, this has gone by the wayside. I would LUV to entertain again, and am hoping we can fill the house up again this year! Both mine and his family have been through some trying years, it’s nice to share with family our blessings as well. This last year, we discovered a new aunt…(56 yrs old) and have been blessed with a whole new family to get to know! As always, I am a huge Kim Hughes fan…the array of cards/projects are adorable!

I really like Kim Hughes stamp sets! My mom’s side of the family all get together at my aunts house (about 40 of us). We all bring something to share food wise and gather for afternoon of food, family, and football!

This year we will be starting a new tradition for Thanksgiving. We usually have family travel to our home, but this year we are going to their home instead. It will be an 8 hour drive, but it will be great to be able to see family that we haven’t seen in a few years. It will be the first time in about 15 years that I won’t have to make the turkey. YIPPEE! Thanks for the chance to win this adorable set.

We do something different every year. Our nearest family is 12 hours away, so we take turns hosting the dinner. Last year we couldn’t travel because of the snow, so we went to our neighbor’s dinner and had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to see what we’ll do this year
Thanks for the chance to win this incredibly cute set!

We celebrate with my in-laws and their extended family. My family is thousands of miles away and I seldom get to go back there. One of these days we’ll all be together for Thanksgiving, I’m hopeful! At this year’s gathering we’ll be announcing our surprise baby on the way, it’s been a lovely year this year!

We celebrate two Thanksgivings every year…one with my Canadian extended family in BC and one with my American husband’s in WA state. You can never say thanks too many times (or have too much pumpkin pie.)
